Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Le'nore is quite paranoid, constantly concerned that something or someone is out to get her in more ways than one. She never strays far from the healers' nest lest she gets hurt, and on the few occasions she does she never goes more than a few moments without stealing a glance behind her so as to thwart any attempts made to sneak up from behind. Few can get close enough to Le'nore to talk to her, and those that can wish they never had: Le'nore speaks only of doom and gloom, her favorite subject being the alleged apocalypse towards the end of the year. Most believe this to be garbage and say that Le'nore is as crazy as Mortac. She protests profusely, but her tendency to repeat, "Nevermore!" when she is afraid, which is pretty much all the time, only reinforces the idea. However, a small, miserable few still take her ramblings to be truth.
