Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

IceRibbon used to live a solitary life in the cold Alpine mountains. He would hunt everyday and watch the snow fall from the gray sky. One day, however, he chanced upon another dragon. The dragon's name was NovaRibbon and she was a red nebula. He spent his days trying to please and court her, but one day she simply disappeared. Disheartened and depressed, IceRibbon returned to his normal routine. However, a few days later, he heard about a powerful dragon clan that had risen in the east. Filled with hope, he flew east until his wings hurt and joints stiffened. Once there, he was greeted by the leader of the clan, the notorious Princess of Shadows, who welcomed him to her home and family.
