Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Aldebar is a calm, wise, and somewhat lazy dragon; he likes to sleep deep in his cave where he collects rare gems.

For these reasons, many may think he is quite a weak dragon; however, he is very stubborn and follows his own "code" of rules. If someone provokes him too much, he will react violently and show that he is quite the fighter if needed.

He has a very strong bond with Orhius with whom he was raised.
