Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lightning Cake was traded around a lot as an egg, as many wanted cave born Thunders like him. Finally he came to the scroll of AppleCakes, who kept him for good and loved him. When he hatched, he was a very unstable hatchling emotionally. The trauma of passing from scroll to scroll affected him. He became a prankster, and once his wings had grown in he would fly up to the clouds and clap his wings directly over different caves. Most of his victims were caves with newly turned vampires. Lightning Cake would scare the dragons into thinking that the Vampire egg was evil, and they would then toss it to the abandoned cave. When he grew up, however, he met the love of his life, Thunder Cake. She had a positive influence on him, and he now no longer does pranks, and is respected. Lighting Cake and Thunder Cake are currently living happily together, surrounded by some friends who are different species of Trios.
