White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Evangelyne is the matriarch of her cave. She keeps the other dragons in check and is the first to know when something is wrong. She cares for the more at risk eggs of the cave while the older dragons go out and hunt or forage. Being a matriarch isn't as easy as it seems though, it takes a lot of effort to keep the other dragons of her cave in line and to break up infighting.

Besides Evangelyne, there is in place a ranking system according to age and personality.
