Sunstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. Their social structure resembles a lion pride, with one dominant male and several females banded together with their young. They prefer arid climates where they can blend in and dig for minerals and gemstones that they not only collect, but eat. The more gems they consume, the larger their tail stone grows. They are an aggressive breed; it is not uncommon to see two males battling for mates and territory.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fata U was the name engraved into the sunstone pendant around her neck. She never knew if the name around her neck was hers, her spouse's, or someone else she loved. She would never know, due to the amnesia that found her lost in the middle of a field with no memories at all- just that pendant. Without even the knowledge of her own name, she herself donned the name of Fata U. The initial of a fragmented last name was all that was left, so she kept it. She enlisted the help of the dragons at Rain Goddess Sanctuary; however, her long journey uncovered not even a fragment of the past. It was as if she never existed before she remembered. Through all this, Fata learned to not look too deeply into the past—while she was trying to uncover her past, she never even realized she was forging a future. She created close bonds with all that embarked on the journey with her, and she was loved. In all honestly, it isn't the past that counts. It's what you make with the future.
