Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

NovaStrike is one of his family's most accomplished dragons, he is well loved and kind hearted, although he can be short fused when it comes to certain topics, most importantly, one of his first eggs. The egg was lost, he knew that even if it wasn't on the same scroll as him. He mourned the loss, but now he has children and grandchildren, even great grand children, and he is happy again.
