And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Reddie Rose is quite a self-centered drake. He likes himself far too much, thinks he's a king for being a Dorkface, and is quite lazy sometimes. He had only found out that he is a Dorkface recently after being frozen. The only dragon he likes is Issabel Hanratty, but she ignores him. He doesn't have any foster parents, and  his true parents abandoned him as a very young hatchling, so he pretty much takes care of himself. Cloud of Memory taught him some simple daydream magic, Firepixie taught him to breath some fire, and Lavatindor taught him to make lava walls. He is somewhat of a Reddie Rose-Of-All-Trades!
