Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lasmindel and Kay were meant to be leaders in the latest battle versus Creorluna. But Creorluna was the least of their problems. They were stranded in a deep system of caves beneath Gratthi Plate. Ten Creorlunites had accompanied them on their fall into the vast chasm.

Somewhere out there, the cannibal Velha were stalking them. One poor soldier had already fallen prey to them.

He called his best generals and told them to disperse in the group and keep their eyes wide open.

They had at least seven wounded along with two Creorlunites.

But was it so smart keeping the Creorlunites. Their meat would be enough to feed the Velha for some time, perhaps even long enough for them to escape.

He spied Yvitte and banished these thoughts. She'd longed for her son and now here he was. True he was cold toward her, but seeing them together reminded Las that most Creorlunites were family to someone in the Northern Clans.  Misled as they may be, they were still family.
