Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. She was joyous and robust, effulgent and genial in her youth. However, in her growth and maturity, her nature—so full of buoyancy—dissipated into a more refine and serious demeanor. During the course of her life, she had learned about love, fear, and heartbreak. Despite having many friends and admirers, her one true and sweet companion was a dragon named Haji. Even though he was considered a monster, a terror of the night, Saya was too kind, and too compassionate. She had taken pity upon him and befriended the poor fellow. What had started as pity blossomed into friendship, and friendship bloomed into love. She, Saya, was coveted and adored by many and he, Haji, was a blood-sucking monster. Once news of this fiendish pairing was heard of, misfortunes and scorn bombarded Haji like nothing before. Unable to bear watching her friend undergo so many sorrows, Saya fled and turned her back on Haji, forcing him into hiding, vowing to never see him again—a vow she has kept ever since.
