Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

At first glance Tom seems rough and gruff—an old world-weary cynic. But once a dragon listens to one of his lyrics it becomes crystal clear that he has a tender soul hidden beneath a not-so-pretty shell.

Although he has earned his place among the members of the Moonsilver Artists' Association and a lot of them look up to him, he lives a rather reclusive life. When he's on the stage performing his art, he opens up and leads the audience from laughter to soulful tears in a heartbeat. Of the stage however he and his mate keep mostly to themselves enjoying some intimate togetherness that gives Tom the energy and inspiration he needs for his art.
