Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Albrin is very friendly. Sometimes a little too friendly. He gives treats to the little hatchlings and helps anyone even when they don't want it. He thinks joking is foolish and no one should do it. He believes being nice and not being foolish in the key to great living. Some dragons appreciate Albrin, some don't. Some mother dragons tell their hatchlings to acts like Albrin when they are being naughty. As a hatchling, Albrin was very naughty and foolish. His guardian was very strict and made him do chores when he was naughty. If Albrin refused to work he was locked up for a day. That taught Albrin the way to good behavior. Yet Albrin has to learn that hatchlings can have a little fun.
