Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In the shadows of distant mountains, lies a large valley filled with more beauty than one can comprehend. Within this valley a lone tree stands. Its bark is riddled with wormholes and a woodpecker has drilled deep into its trunk, but its ancient branches continue to reach skyward with the same stubborn doggedness as ever. This tree has seen the rise and fall of civilizations, lived through fires and droughts, and sheltered many creatures in its limbs. Most stay a season or two and flee, but Teraence keeps coming back. Unlike other dragons who's claws have ripped at its roots or who's fire has scorched its bark, Teraence responds with a gentle touch as though he were caressing a wingless dragon hatchling. Teraence alone comes to take care of the tree, keep it company, and protect it in times of need. It is as though part of the tree is in him, and part of him is in the tree. Teraence's loyalty to this ancient tree is unmeasurable, and he would lay down his life for it in a heartbeat.
