White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kadoatie's rough-and-shamble clan has but one trained medic, the (once) talented Vysilk, who has attempted to teach some followers without success. His own elders thought he had potential as a general healer. Not fond of administering dragonpox pellets and burn salves, however, he mostly fulfills his obligation as a white dragon by administering to the psychic health of the clan.

He was born in a huge, orderly clan, and taught boring but effective treatments from the motherly old dragons. Now, hes out in the "wilds" where Vengeful and Psychotic find it amusing to half-slaughter each other weekly before breeding time. Understandably, Vys, originally very sane, has gradually fallen into the half-insanity of most of the clan. He may still be horrified at physical violence, but he isn't against a little mind-bending now and then.

He would never KILL a dragon, after all.
