Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Striped dragons are revered for both their intelligence and beauty, and as such are often elected as lords amongst plainer dragons. This does create one minor problem, however: inheritance. Colored stripes are generally considered less pure of blood, and are thus sometimes denied the throne of their parents... but thankfully, that isn't the case for this fellow! The only issue he has with his coloration is that his doting parents now fully expect him to marry another green stripe so they'll look pretty together. Being more fond of blue stripes, he finds this ridiculous, but his parents insist they'll find him a green so beautiful she'll make all the other girls green with envy. While he was a bit dubious, he does admit that the fair young lady they picked out for him is quite an interesting character...
