Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kuklipe is the leader of the Drypteroe clan and also the second oldest dragon. Esciasca, the Spitfire, created a glass house for her in the sandstone, making sure there was an attic with a skylight for her to observe her nebula. She spends most of her time in this attic, staring at the sky. Occasionally hatchlings will come to sit with her, but she spends most of her time alone.

Much is known about her, but most have forgotten her old name, before the Dark Times where it seemed the Serenne legions had been abandoned, when in fact Meilyn, their master, had been out on a mission. Kuklipe will tell stories of the Dark Times, and how she and Euneira the Vine dragon singlehandedly ran the scroll until Meilyn returned.

Kuklipe will quietly listen to what Julius the Nature Guardian says, even if she disagrees. It seems she is much too tired to argue with him; however, in her age, her sight has not failed her.
