Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Diamon was the 3rd dragon Lady Callie hatched, joining the then-small Clan Mystic early one dawn. Zexmenia and Baccharis had grown wings by that point, and were happily buzzing around Lady Callie's head to wake her. The young tender scrambled over to the nest to find Diamon flopped over on her back. The dawn that day was so pale the albino could have blended in with the heavens if she had had her wings that morning. Diamon is a very loving dragon, much the opposite of her surprising choice of a mate, Zaniton FoulWing. She is always very cheerful and bright, while her mate is usually dark and gloomy, never taking much part in happy clan activities. Lady Callie fears that this might come to effect Diamon's cheery demeanor, but it has only seemed to make her more determined to try to get her mate to take part in clan functions, both for their sake and their numerous offspring's.
