Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dregthmor's favorite place to be is in the midst of a storm or at the very least a rain-cloud. He loves to let the fierce winds toss him about with the rain drenching his scales as he flies through a cloud. He uses his magic to create an overcast sky. This habit of his has led other dragons to start referring to him as Dreary. Dreary takes some pride in this title, and works hard to create the largest clouds that he can. By the time that his mate, Erdezeld, joins him, Dregthmor will often hide within the cloud for dragon-style hide-and-seek. If one of them spots the other first it often results in being tackled out of the sky, or at least the cloud, making for great fun.

When it comes to Eerie, Dregthmor has a high level of respect for her prowess and precision. His style is to unleash his magic on a large-scale. He is slightly jealous of her skill, so he tends to lose his temper quite often. In reality this is more of a show, as Dregthmor would protect her with his life, if needed.
