Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A gentle and peaceful creature, Sohrab has undergone much bullying from other dragons in his lifetime. Despite being such a sweet and beautiful creature on the inside, Sohrab was born with a huge defect on his face. His teeth and mouth didn't properly form, causing a defect much like a harelip. Sohrab has sought friends in many regions of EG's Cave, only to be betrayed every time by a deceitful dragon that masquerades as his friend and then turns on him the second that another more powerful dragon steps in claiming that Sohrab is worthless. However, Sohrab keeps high spirits at all times and always tries to make the best of every situation.

Despite his lack of friends, Sohrab has found a lovely mate within the cave who loves him more than anything in the world. So, with her, a little ray of sunshine falls into his seemingly sad life and springs a new hope into his heart.
