Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Erdezeld's preferred hunting method involves targeting her prey and landing nearby, yet out of sight. She then creates a massive, thick fog and flies low and slow towards her prey, appearing out of the fog upon it. It is due to this technique that she earned the nickname Eerie. She spends most of her day hidden within a fog as it provides great protection and interest for her. When she chooses to let the fog dissipate she then takes to the clouds where she may be found play-fighting with Dreary, a fellow gray dragon.

Eerie is a very quiet dragon who takes to the skies to think. As she does not have to land very often she has spent much time honing her skills and will obsess over perfecting the slightest breeze. This has left her very confident of her abilities and, more strangely, less aggressive. While Erdezeld has a fairly good handle on her temper, she has still been seen in a full-out fight with Dreary over who was a better hunter.
