Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

One of the four original "Lady Sunsongs" of Natasha's Cave, Kotonei is probably the quietest. She was third hatched of the four Sunsongs, but was given the least attention due to the fourth one hatching right after her. She is also least liked of the four, due to her 'unclean' lineage; the other three have pure or 'special' lineages that are short and organized, but Kotonei is related to many different breeds in many ways. Despite this, Kotonei is a very positive dragon who likes peace and is easy going. She likes reading to the hatchlings and telling stories, but she refuses to tell them stories if they get over-rowdy or rude. The hatchlings have learned many manners from Kotonei. Kotonei has found her lifelong mate in Choji, the dominant male Sunsong.
