Lunar Heralds are deeply attuned to the two moons of Valkemare, Aurax and Cirion. Strictly nocturnal, they draw energy from moonlight and will only hunt when the moons have waned. When breeding, the amount of moonlight the parents receive from each moon will determine the color of the egg produced. When a Lunar Herald is struck by direct moonlight, an illusion of multiple wings may appear. Witnessing a Lunar Herald’s illusory wings is commonly believed to be a sign of good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Uronn simply showed up one day and became a part of Hawktalon's clan. He does his share and helps out when he's needed but he doesn't talk much (and when he does it's with such a heavy accent that he is extremely difficult to understand) or have many friends. No one really knows where he comes from, and his many odd quirks and habits have started the popular rumor that Uronn is not a dragon at all but a refugee from another world beyond Valkemare. Of course it's more likely that he's simply proficient in time magic and managed to get himself stuck in the wrong era. But it's infinitely more fun to come up with reasons why Uronn is an alien. Uronn has never commented on the issue; in fact a very valid argument can be made that he himself supports these rumors, which only leads to more extreme fantasies about Uronn's "kind" and his homeworld. Perhaps he just enjoys being a part of daily affairs in his clan, if only vicariously.
