Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Baccharis WindWish joined Clan Mystic as Lady Callie's 2nd dragon. She became accustomed to being pampered as a hatchling, and has grown into a rather snobby old dragon. Lady Callie regrets this, but as she still loves the dragon, takes food and sometimes the younglings to Baccharis' cave. Baccharis received her name as a hatchling, claiming to be as fast as the wind. Even now, if you made a comment relating to it, Baccharis would praise her speed with enormous pride.
