Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Little 'USB', as she's referred to, is not the brightest young'un in the bunch. In fact, if one were to gather the whole bunch and take a look, there would definitely be quite a lot of bright ones, but USB isn't one of them. This comes coupled with an overwhelming innocence and naivety that all in all makes her look roughly as intelligent as a brick. Still, she makes up for it with a big heart—she's very caring and considerate, and absolutely loves adorning everything with lots of shiny decorations when Christmas rolls around each year (or, really, any excuse at all to put lots of tinsel everywhere).
