Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

She ran into the abandoned cave, looking flustered. There were many other humans there, picking up eggs and rushing out, that she almost didn't notice the dark purple, single-blue-striped egg in the back corner. She picked it up, cradled it then returned to her cave. She knew dragon types very well, and could immediately tell it was a Horse. This was the dragon's owner that was discussed prior, and she would never hurt a dragon to save her life.

Her other dragons warmly welcomed the egg into their cave. After hatching, the dragon was immediately named Resi Cheryl. Everyone except their owner called the hatchling Resi, as one can't tell if a dragon is a boy or girl until right before they mature. Growing up, Resi had very strong legs. When he woke up, he began running; to eat, an adult dragon—mainly Leviticus—would have to grab him, stuff food into his mouth, then let him go; while sleeping, he often dreamed about running, and accidentally kicked his fellow hatchlings in his sleep.
