Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bolero is powerful with everything he does. He is one of the most known of the dragons. He is quick to anger but a steadfast friend.<br/>He also tends to be misunderstood. Most dragons, especially the hatchlings, are afraid of him. He is the one male the twins have never tried to seduce. Without Stars, Heart's Blood, and Rosiline, Bolero would be alone in the clan. The one who understands him the most is most likely Stars. <br/>He is often seen down at the lake, tossing stones into the water while Stars sits off shore. The two have had the best conversations. <br/>And Stars knows the things that few others do. Like- Bolero knew little of his wild parents but for the fact that his mother was a blue. And so he always dreamed of what it was like. Named for a famous score himself, Bolero is quite fond of music. He loves to watch the sun when it's high in the sky and wonder what it's like, past the stars. And that he is incredibly insecure and upset that Heart's Blood seems to be drifting away...
